I think the chief villain is Alexa given some of her later-game stuff. May is openly more hostile but Alexa... she's TWISTED! Nora and Annica seem the most straightforward and friendly.
so latest zip file seems damaged, or improperly packaged. 7zip returns error messages, and the main exe is titled Game.exe.exe
also while trying to update I noticed many of the file directories from the last version are not present, I don't know if they were changed or what, but I've tried to redownload the file twice to the same effect.

Just keep on trying, after a couple times it should work fine. Or else, try downloading it from the itch io app, or restarting your computer. I play from Mac and it’s possible! I think you can also use a command in terminal if it doesn’t let you open it.

I really liked the atmosphere, the plot itself, especially the part where Katerina tries to escape, but her freedom turns out to be so dreadful that the bar where she works starts to seem like a greater freedom to her. In a way, it reflects our reality with corporations and their treatment of workers, the lack of freedom. Meanwhile, the bar and Chuds is nswf part of itch.io community xD
I'm definitely looking forward to the next updates.
P.S. It doesn't work on Apple M1 (Arm), so I had to install windows WM P.S. Please make the fonts in upgrades/talents window more readable

So corruption isn't really to my tastes per se, though neither is it a deal-breaker.
That being said, is the corruption mandatory, and how far will it go? I'd at least like to have some idea of what I'm in for, as having the right expectations helps swallow the parts I might not be a fan of.
At its core the game will have 2 corrupt routes. One where Catherine is more in charge and one with IO is more in charge. A kind of submissive or defiant route. For non-corruption there will be options to get out without becoming corrupted, but that also means not getting very many scenes.

Updates are less and less safe to use old save files. I try to keep them working but it was starting to overwhelm me trying to keep track of everything. On windows I try and include save games.
If you're on windows it's in Game Folder > www > save. But if you have no saves then that folder won't exist and you have to start a new game and save.
I'm stuck on the bits where she lays on the bar counter (Where they pour drinks on her) and pool table and can't seem to progress. I've used to cheat chicken for a corruption of 100 and I think my reputation is stuck around 40-50. Any advice
The body shots is the last scene in the current update for after bar activities. Generally, if you've unlocked all the content in the gallery then you've seen everything from that update.
Why can't I launch the mac version om mac when i execute the game it says "impossible to open the application "game" any idea this a the same for a lot of the other game on itch.io
Try restarting your mac, then open it, ignore the ''game stopped working'' or something, and press enter, I don't know if it's because of different settings, but I think I made my macbook allow me to open these types of games through a command, I think it's totally safe, so, try searching for a tutorial!
There’s a tutorial that helps you with a code in terminal that allows you to open games like these, it’s a short tutorial, straight to the point. Though if your Mac is updated to the last update, it shouldn’t be giving you much trouble. I can’t remember if this game required the command to open it, or not, but if it won’t open, and says something like “app downloaded from external blah blah blah can’t trust”, you can open it from the settings, privacy section, if you scroll, you should find an option that says “open anyway”.
What I usually do is I keep on pressing return or enter until it opens, it usually takes like ten tries, if it keeps on closing, you could try restarting your Mac, but it is possible!

I think it’s something like chmod +x *Drag the nwjs file inside the MacOS file that is inside the contents file, which you can find when you ‘check contents’ of the app by left clicking.* and it’s something like that, then it should allow you to open it, I’m no expert, though!
Click settings button next to launch, then click manage, then "Show in Finder." Open by right-clicking and confirm you want to allow the game to run on this Mac. Should be fine after that.
I’m not sure what you mean by that, I can’t find a manage button anywhere and when you say settings do you mean the ‘application settings’ or do you mean ‘finder setting’. Also I’m not getting a ‘Show in Finder’ at all.

THAT'S where I was seeing the "Show in Finder" option. (It can be a real bugbear to find Itch games on a Mac, otherwise. And you usually have to, to open them for the first time.)
After like ten tries, I managed to make this work in my Macbook pro. MY GOD, I LOVE I0, he's or, it is so sweet, and, controlling, and I just love that robot. Man, I wish I had a robot like that. The game is wonderful, I'm loving it.
You should be able to save normally. Right click will bring you to the menu to save. Older saves aren't compatible so I included 4 saves with the download.
Played it for some hours. I liked the idea of corrupting Catherine slowly and apart from some weird dialogues and a bad intro there's almost nothing to add to the game. I would, however, like to see more dialogues after the end of the shift, it seems to there's not enough character development. The dev wants to take it slow, so give us some content to see before she slips into her sluttiness. After the first few days it feels like I need to grind for the next portion of the content and the bar mini-game \ encounter takes a bit too much time sometimes. Also, it would be real nice to have some proper MacOS support and if needed I can play test the game on apple silicon devices and make some bug reports if encountered.

Mac version keeps crashing every time I try to open it, which is a shame because this game looks really, really fun!

Click with both fingers on the screen to "cancel" this will let you back out of menus or choices. It also opens up the menu to be able to save.

Okay I think I found the solution, I accidentally used my mac's unzip program instead of unarchiver
